Site Tuning :

Site tuning is to make the website more user friendly for (a) search engines and (b) surfers.

A) Search Engines (se)

Sometimes, a site looks extremely pretty but is usually not good for a se. Example, se have a hard time indexing framed sites because they do not know which frame can stand on it's own without the rest of the frames in the set and without direction, they do not know which page to crawl for content. Without words to add to their index, a framed site will list as poorly as a nonframed blank page.

In order to make a site se friendly, we need to use both software and experience consultants to modify some codes. These codes usually have no effect to the design of your page.

B) Surfers

It may look fantastic after loading the page but before loading, it is 'turn-off". What good will be your site if nobody or very few would wait half an hour for the fantastic animation and graphics to load.

To tune it for surfers, we have to observe special guidelines like loading time, screen view, language used, resolution, browser support etc.
